Iconic fabric inspired by early 1900s British military uniforms. Designed for protection against aggressive tropical sunlight, it relies on the reflective properties of the colour red. British soldiers used this fabric in its more traditional variant: beige on the outside, red inside. In technical terms, the fabric gets its unmistakable iridescent effect from the special Levantine construction. The spinet design of different colours in wefts and chains adds to the effect. Men’s-style tailored trousers featuring double pleats and back pockets.
